It is a little tricky to assemble this model minifig, without instructions. In my case I better make my own version, with race helmet.

Still working on it, but here’s a pic of the head. I decided it was a hat:

I have all the parts done except for one arm. I’ll let you know if/when I finish that arm and work out how to make all the parts go together. I don’t fully get how that’s supposed to happen. It looks like they forgot cylinder-type parts for the limbs to hang on, maybe? Or maybe I’m supposed to fold the tiny tabs out and into the limb sockets? Geh… so vague.

Anyway, it’s been a tough one. I’m no papercraft master or anything, but I blew through about a half-a-roll of scotch tape to make it work and even still it’s kinda lousy looking.

Still, it’s been a fun challenge

I haven’t built this one yet, although it’s definitely on the list. I looked at the sheets for quite awhile to see if it was build-able back when I posted it, and I recall puzzling over the black piece as well, and came to the same conclusion that it must be a hat. Given that the top of the head above the face is straight and doesn’t taper up, something has to sit on top. I’d love to see pics of it completed if you are able to puzzle it out.

It works fine with the refresh. I’ve had no issues. With regards to speed, each command executes in about the time it would take you to turn two pages in a Kindle book.

Hey, so I’m trying to build this and I’m a little baffled as to what some of the pieces are–mainly the big black thing. Also, I can’t work out how to finish the head–seems like there’s a bit missing. Or is the black thing some sort of hat? Anyway, if you happen to have a pic of this done I’d love it if you could share it with me. I’m struggling!
