Free Games!
December 18, 2008
I’ve mentioned the fine folks at GOG.com a few times lately for their excellent selection of Good Old Games. Shortly after I posted about their new offering of Simon The Sorcerer, they announced two Oddworld games: Abe’s Oddysee (available now) and Abe’s Exoddus (available Tuesday), which is awesome. But they trumped themselves today by offering two games for free. Yes, that’s F-R-E-E, free, people!
Revolution Software’s point-and-click adventure games Beneath a Steel Sky and Lure of the Temptress are available for free. Both have downloadable manuals, and Beneath a Steel Sky even has a few extras like wallpapers, avatars and a comic. Do I need to say it again…. FREE!!
If you were ever tempeted to give GOG.com a try, now’s your chance. You don’t have to give them a credit card or anything, just register on their site with a valid email address and start downloading.
